<strong>benign medical condition<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIt is a &#8220;misunderstood&#8221; pathology, whose symptoms and frequency are generally underestimated.<br \/>\nThe average time between the appearance of symptoms and the first visit to the gynecologist is 4 years, with another 4 years waiting until the final diagnosis.<br \/>\nIt is estimated that around 10 to 20% of women of reproductive age suffer from endometriosis.
