contraception for women, even though it is not particularly widespread as a technique in Greece.<br \/>\nIndicatively, in the USA, 30% of women who use contraception have chosen this method.<\/p>\n<p>It is a surgical technique, called ligation, in which we cut the fallopian tubes of the uterus in various ways. The most common and simple way is to place a clip in each fallopian tube.<br \/>\nThus, there is no longer the possibility of communication between the uterus and the ovaries, and therefore also communication between the sperm and eggs, so conception becomes impossible.<\/p>\n<p>With the evolution of <a href=\"https:\/\/gynequipe.gr\/en\/woman\/laparoscopy\/laparoscopic-method\/\"><strong>laparoscopy<\/strong><\/a>, sterilization is done easily and quickly, in the day surgery under general anesthesia (hospitalization of a few hours), with an excellent aesthetic result (one hole in the umbilicus of 10 mm and a second one just above the pubic bone, of 5 mm if needed).<\/p>\n<p>The advantages of this contraception are that it is done once in a woman&#8217;s life, it is highly effective, it avoids the use of hormones while the woman is freed from the constant stress of an unwanted pregnancy.
