Ces tests mesurent la pr\u00e9sence de gonadotrophine chorionique humaine (hCG), une hormone produite par le placenta en d\u00e9veloppement. Ces tests peuvent fournir des r\u00e9sultats fiables d\u00e8s 7 \u00e0 10 jours apr\u00e8s la conception, ce qui correspond g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement au moment o\u00f9 les r\u00e8gles sont manqu\u00e9es.
