g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement r\u00e9alis\u00e9e entre la 18e et la 23e semaine de grossesse, est un test m\u00e9dical essentiel qui fournit des informations d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sur le d\u00e9veloppement du f\u0153tus et sur le syst\u00e8me reproducteur de la m\u00e8re. Cet examen, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom d\u2019 \u00ab \u00e9chographie de niveau B \u00bb, offre des informations pr\u00e9cieuses sur le d\u00e9veloppement, l&#8217;anatomie et l&#8217;\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du b\u00e9b\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de l&#8217;\u00e9chographie du deuxi\u00e8me trimestre, le gyn\u00e9cologue placera un gel sur le ventre de la m\u00e8re et utilisera un appareil pour envoyer des ondes sonores \u00e0 haute fr\u00e9quence \u00e0 travers l&#8217;ut\u00e9rus. Ces ondes sonores rebondissent sur le b\u00e9b\u00e9 et d&#8217;autres structures, cr\u00e9ant des images en temps r\u00e9el sur un \u00e9cran.<br \/>\nIl faut noter ici que ces ondes sonores n\u2019ont aucun effet sur la sant\u00e9 du b\u00e9b\u00e9 et de la femme.<\/p>\n<p>De cette fa\u00e7on, nous examinons:<\/p>\n<p>Anatomie f\u0153tale : l&#8217;un des principaux objectifs est d&#8217;\u00e9valuer l&#8217;anatomie du b\u00e9b\u00e9, notamment le cerveau, la colonne vert\u00e9brale, le c\u0153ur, les membres et les organes. Cela permet de d\u00e9tecter toute anomalie structurelle ou probl\u00e8me cong\u00e9nital.<\/p>\n<p>Mesures f\u0153tales : l&#8217;analyse mesure la taille et la croissance du b\u00e9b\u00e9, y compris le tour de t\u00eate, la circonf\u00e9rence abdominale et la longueur du f\u00e9mur, afin de d\u00e9terminer si la croissance correspond \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e2ge gestationnel.<\/p>\n<p>Niveaux de liquide amniotique : Le gyn\u00e9cologue v\u00e9rifie les niveaux de liquide amniotique autour du b\u00e9b\u00e9, car trop ou pas assez peut indiquer d&#8217;\u00e9ventuelles complications.<\/p>\n<p>Localisation du placenta : La position du placenta est \u00e9valu\u00e9e pour s&#8217;assurer qu&#8217;il ne recouvre pas le col de l&#8217;ut\u00e9rus (placenta praevia), ce qui peut entra\u00eener des complications lors de l&#8217;accouchement.<\/p>\n<p>La longueur du col de l&#8217;ut\u00e9rus : l&#8217;analyse examine l&#8217;ut\u00e9rus et le col de la m\u00e8re \u00e0 la recherche de toute anomalie ou probl\u00e8me potentiel susceptible d&#8217;affecter la grossesse.<\/p>\n<p>Identification du sexe : Si vous le souhaitez, l&#8217;\u00e9chographie peut r\u00e9v\u00e9ler le sexe du b\u00e9b\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Confirmation d&#8217;une grossesse multiple : L\u2019\u00e9chographie peut confirmer si la grossesse comprend un ou plusieurs f\u0153tus (jumeaux, tripl\u00e9s, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9valuation du flux sanguin : dans certains cas, l&#8217;analyse peut \u00e9valuer le flux sanguin dans le cordon ombilical et d&#8217;autres vaisseaux majeurs afin de surveiller la sant\u00e9 du b\u00e9b\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Nous parvenons g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 voir tous les organes du f\u0153tus en un seul examen, mais cela n&#8217;est pas toujours possible, car le f\u0153tus dans l&#8217;abdomen de la m\u00e8re change constamment de position, de sorte que certains organes ne sont pas bien visibles. Sinon, nous r\u00e9p\u00e9tons l&#8217;examen plus tard ou un autre jour, en compl\u00e9tant les organes que nous n&#8217;avons pas bien vu la premi\u00e8re fois, \u00e0 cause de leur position dans le ventre de la maman.<br \/>\n<strong>Ce n\u2019est pas parce qu\u2019un organe n\u2019est pas visible qu\u2019il n\u2019existe pas.<\/strong><br \/>\nLe poids de la m\u00e8re joue \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le important dans cet examen. Chez les femmes minces, l\u2019imagerie \u00e9chographique est beaucoup plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9e et claire que chez les femmes ob\u00e8ses. Cela peut avoir des implications pour le diagnostic de divers probl\u00e8mes f\u0153taux.<\/p>\n<p>Dans tous les cas, les futurs parents doivent savoir que dans des conditions d&#8217;examen id\u00e9ales, le taux de d\u00e9tection des anomalies anatomiques ne d\u00e9passe pas 70 % de tous les organes examin\u00e9s, car de tr\u00e8s petites malformations ne peuvent pas \u00eatre d\u00e9tect\u00e9es avec les moyens \u00e9chographiques modernes. Aussi, certaines maladies, qui ne s&#8217;accompagnent d&#8217;aucune anomalie anatomique et sont dites m\u00e9taboliques, ne peuvent pas \u00eatre d\u00e9tect\u00e9es par \u00e9chographie.<br \/>\nDans le cas o\u00f9 une variation anatomique ou autre anomalie est d\u00e9tect\u00e9e, le gyn\u00e9cologue conseillera le couple sur les possibilit\u00e9s de contr\u00f4le pr\u00e9natal, en
